Our client is a consulting and engineering firm with offices across three countries, offering innovative, value-added solutions in consulting, project delivery, asset operations, and maintenance for the mining, metals, and industrial sectors.

Challenge:

Despite having unique expertise in a niche space, the client wasn’t effectively communicating their value externally. They needed to identify growth opportunities and position themselves as a leader with their highly technical offering. The challenge was compounded by a limited marketing budget, a lack of resources, and the need to simplify complex content to engage non-technical decision-makers. Additionally, the brand message had to be adapted for each region’s culture and client needs.

Our approach:

We conducted a detailed market analysis to identify their target audience’s pain points and developed a brand story and campaign series to address these issues. To stay within budget, we worked closely with the client’s technical team on the construction sites to gather authentic photos and content from each region. This allowed us to create simple, engaging campaigns that showcased the company’s expertise without relying on overly technical language.
The campaigns featured their team in action, with imagery from diverse environments such as monsoon rains in Thailand and freezing, -60°C conditions in Canada, using a humorous tone to position the experts as "superheroes" overcoming harsh circumstances. These campaigns were followed by more technical thought leadership content aimed at a specialized audience, showcasing the company’s engineering expertise and building social proof.
